Brexit
So they've got it done!
Leaving me standing in the rain.
No tears for Little England,
no grief for a ragged European disharmony,
but sorrow for mankind and intelligence.
Feels like a funeral,
like burying some kind of nobody.
I realize, new days have broken
as “blackbird has spoken”,
but no “Song of Joy”.
“Europe” - what is it?
Narrow-minded as it always was!
Full of lies, cheating and disinformation.
A new invention of honor, of civilization will be necessary,
if there is a common will, at all.
Shall we overcome?
Or will the world laugh at us
and bury Europe … some day?

Deci au reușit!
M-au lăsat în ploaie.
Nicio lacrimă pentru Micuța Anglie,
nicio remușcare pentru zdrențuita lipsă de armonie europeană,
decât tristețe pentru omenire și inteligență.
Pare a fi o înmormântare,
ca și cum ai îngropa pe un nimenea.
Realizez, noile zile s-au rupt
precum „a grăit mierla”,
dar niciun „Sunet de Bucurie”.
„Europa” – ce este aceasta?
O minte îngustă așa cum a fost dintotdeauna!
Plină de minciuni, înșelătorii și dezinformări.
O nouă invenție a onoarei, a civilizației ne va trebui,
dacă mai există această voință comună.
O vom putea depăși?
Sau va râde lumea de noi
în timp ce vom îngropa Europa... într-o zi?

Raymond Walden (1945, Jena, Germania). Scriitor, poet şi filosof cosmonomic. În 2005 a publicat cartea Sentinţe despre libertate – Manifestul cosmonomic, iar în 2008, Credinţe umaniste. Potrivit lui Raymond Walden, noi nu trăim “în cea mai bună dintre lumile posibile”. Spiritul său analitic şi critic nu este confortabil, dar reprezintă o abordare necesară din punctul de vedere al raţiunii. For Raymond Walden we are not living in „the best possible world“. His analytical and critical spirit is not comfortable for some postmodernist or decadent mentality, but it is a necessary approach on behalf of human reason.
